Description

The Black Ink Crew is back! In the heart of Harlem, Black Ink is the only black-owned and operated tattoo parlor as well as one of the most famous in the country. Black Ink owner, and noted hardass, Ceaser employs some close, and very vocal friends that make up the “Crew.” Puma, the party animal who has been at the shop from the start; Dutchess, the sexy Southern Belle and Ceaser's girlfriend; Sassy, the shop's publicist and resident peacemaker; Alex, the ex-receptionist/loose cannon; Ted, Ceaser’s cousin and trusted confidant; Walt, the happy-go-lucky assistant shop manager; and O’S**t, the hard luck but lovable ex-jock turned in demand tat artist. For many in this crew, the shop is the key to turning their lives around, and for some of them, it’s their first legitimate job off the streets. But can they survive all of the drama that is part of everyday life at the shop?

Season one: tattoos, the underdog, success - love it. Season two: deadbeat dads, baby mama drama, fist fighting, gun charges, tattoos are few and far between - the show is just ok and getting worse each week — This show used to be about the underdog and making it in Harlem. Now it’s a bunch of people living life typical African American stereotype.
