CREEPSHOW, the new anthology series based on the 1982 horror comedy classic, is still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared! A comic book comes to life in a series of twelve vignettes over six episodes, exploring terrors from murder to the supernatural and unexplainable. Haunted dollhouses, werewolves, murderous goblins, villainous trick-or-treaters, the dead, and medical marvels are just a few of the things to watch out for in this new series. You never know what will be on the next page…

  • Not Bad, Similar to the Twilight Zone Reboot

    By amberatkinsYESSUM
In my opinion i think how much you may like this show obviously depends on preference, but beyond that its all about managing your expectations. I personally grew up watching Creepshow and being a little kid it genuinely scared the crap out of me at times and at other times the ridiculousness and sick sense of humor regarding justice legitimatly comforted me. Creepshow is amazing because theres always a defined logic and set of rules (quoting mike stoklassa from RLM), similiar to the twighlight zone. Okay so, considering that basic and not very helpful description ill cut to the chase and say after watching 4 episodes i am entertained as a horror, especially campy horror fan, but plot lines that once took me on a wild ride-when i was 8 of course- really dont have the same weight as they once did. Every episode ive predicted within about a minute. im not exaggerating. But it honestly doesnt bother me as much as the twilight zone reboot because i got into ttz when i was a little older so i take any sort of missed opportunity personally. I hope this helps! Honestly, if you enjoy Goosebumps, or enjoyed Goosebumps, or Trick 'R Treat, an anthology horror movie that I adore, check it out, but maybe put it on in the background while doing busywork if generic plot devices and somewhat cheesy hamurabi code moral lessons. I wish they kept the intro the same as the original though.
  • I like it!

I've only seen the first episode, which I really liked. If this is any indication of the rest of the series, I know I will not be disappointed.
