"If you build it, he will come." With these words, Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) is inspired by a voice he can't ignore to pursue a dream he can hardly believe. Supported by his wife Annie (Amy Madigan), Ray begins the quest by turning his ordinary cornfield into a place where dreams can come true. Along the way he meets reclusive activist Terence Mann (James Earl Jones), the mysterious “Doc” Graham (Burt Lancaster) and even the legendary “Shoeless Joe” Jackson (Ray Liotta). A heartwarming experience that has moved critics and audiences like no other film of this generation, Field of Dreams is a glowing tribute to all who dare to dream.

  • iTunes Extras needed

Good movie, but please add iTunes Extras and Special Features. I have discovered that the Special Features for this film is on the DVD/Blu-Ray release, but not included on iTunes. This is really annoying to me when the Special Features appear on the Home Video releases of movies, but not on iTunes because technology is advancing everyday.

  • The Film That Changed My Life

    By Adam 4077
I have had a passion for movies all my life since I was growing up. I saw this picture when I was around 8 years old and I couldn't really understand it at that time, but when they presented it on TCM I realized how incredible this film is. When I saw it on TCM I could stop crying because, I know everyone has to leave this earth and when the ones we truly love are gone we will do anything to see them one more time. I thank the director and crew along with the cast for changing my life to realize the power of dreams and get me back together with my father. A film not to be missed, and to be passed down from generation to generation.
