The Green Knight Movie Streaming Reviews

  • Horrible

    By a.k.a. MAELSTROM
If you want to see a classic tale of mystery, horror, adventure and romance that has been unfaithfully adapted into a vanity project that bores you to sleep when it is not disgusting you, then this movie is for you. Such a shame that this movie dishonors one of the oldest tales ever to be written.

Really have no idea what this movie was about? He jerked off on a belt? Thank god this was $15. Maybe I need to be super high?
  • disappointing

    By ch355pilgrim
the acting is brilliant and some of the cinematography is truly beautiful. but, often the scenery and effects do not serve the story. on the whole, this story is a convoluted frankenstein of the original story’s character arc. the last story beats were deleted entirely , while new elements were added that were never given relevance. the sound was dreadful and way too heavy-handed to be acceptable with the visuals. as for theme, the writer did too much and not enough all at once.
  • Weird

Making a weird movie is not art.

  • General Audience Nightmare , Critics Dream

The whole movie your your waiting for and expecting this big moment. This is to only realize that the movie just ends and that moment never came. No character development, and no plot.
  • Nope

    By theprairiekid
Visually stunning, but that's it. I would think that the only way somebody would like this film is if they've never read, heard, or seen a good story told well before. This could've been so much, but it has no purpose or lesson or even a satisfactory resolution.
  • Ruined the source

    By Natolodeon
Completely butchered the source material. Horribly pretentious
  • Need time to ponder

You will go through this movie in different stages. The excitement of the regal-ness of the Green Knight we all saw in the trailer, to a slight lull in spirit in the middle… however, the story reveals itself in the final 30 minutes of the film; although, the full body of work is necessary to see. It’s a true must see, if you give it the chance it needs and the time to consider it’s moral.
  • Don't pay for this

    By Joel
Do yourself a favor. Read/listen to the actual poem. That's art. This is ... questionable.
