Description

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan). Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.

Sorry, this just does not work. The sequel-on-sequel trend is done for Rocky. Sad way to grasp for something that has long been over and done. This is as bad as the Tommy Gun flop. Total waste of viewing time. Complete fail imho ... just more money for the Rocky franchise is all.

What a disappointment. That actor who played creeds son is so one dimensional. He can only play angry parts. Did not enjoy film.

This movie got it right. Sports at their best is more than just a game; wins and losses. They connect us to our potential and make us better. I think Rocky was so good because that element was the subtext of the story. Same here. It's about boxing. But really, it's about much, much more. A surprisingly good story and everything I've loved about Rocky since I first saw it almost 45 years ago (!).
