When a group of cannibal savages kidnaps settlers from the small town of Bright Hope, an unlikely team of gunslingers, led by Sheriff Hunt (Kurt Russell), sets out to bring them home.
No need for the graphics at the end...
People don’t need to see a man get literally split in to and pulled apart on either side to get the point across, I would say that there is no Indian of any tribe on planet earth that would commit to such a Brutal and violent way to kill someone,
Hitler himself was a kinder man...
An absolute must watch!

Action packed with many scares and gore! Wow! 😈😳🤯🤮

A pseudo western of bizarre torture murder and pointless nonsense. I have never seen such a poorly directed movie. The actions and decisions of the characters don’t match the story.
A personal favorite.
Bone Tomahawk hooked me immediately. I loved the dialogue and how it was written. The story is simple, too simple. To its credit, the film uses the first act to showcase this great writing and delivery of lines from all the actors (all of whom are great in this) then the second act comes along and stays about 30 minutes longer than it should, filled with little to no action or suspense really, the second act felt like a bit of waste. Especially considering the run time.
Then the third act shows up and boy does it show up. Intense. Graphic. Violent. The third act is brilliant.
Do yourself a favor though and skip this guy’s other films. They’re garbage.
Whoa. After an interminable, under-manned posse trek everybody dies—in gruesome ways that don't fit the movie. Some reviewers call this a comedy? Really? I spent most of the time bored to tears with this dull Western. Then a horror movie claimed the last 5 minutes. Not much of a pay-off.
Hoped For Better
Too much gore and subpar acting kept me from even finishing the movie. I have to agree with other reviewers in that the pace was pretty slow as well.
Ugly side of human beings
This movie shows the very ugly side of human beings, and it shows it in particularly graphic and disgusting way. If you don’t have to stomach for gore, skip it. If you can stomach it, the story is simple but good, and the execution of the movie is intense, but built up slowly.
I saw this movie when it was released. It is a gruesome western horror. It is good. I would say 3-4 stars. I personally think the sex scene was ridiculous and a waste of time; more of a cheap distraction from the rest of the good western horror.
I thought this would be a more classic western since it’s categorized as such. Do not watch if you dislike gore. They show a man literally being ripped in half lengthwise and limbless, blinded female sex slaves. I will never watch this again.
